Is there a workaround to handle Lightning's call -- upon asking it to open a new document in word processing and specifying WP as default -- that I download a trial version of X3?
I already had X3 purchased and installed when I loaded Lightning. Lightning doesn't seem to recognize X3's presence.

I downloaded the WordProcessor Module, but when I did, my internet connection failed.

Today I downloaded the trial module,
has chose save as, selected .wpd and he cannot save the note until I manually typed the .wpd or .doc after the name.
There are some notes who have problems, where he's crashing, I can't find the reason.
But I'm happy that I can now open my notes in older versions of WP.

If you are using WordPerfect X3 as your word processor, you can mark text to be treated as footnotes, endnotes, or comments in a Lightning note and quickly convert the marked text to those formats once you have exported the note to WordPerfect X3.
